Founders Pledge is rooted in the belief that business can—and should—be a force for good.
In 2014, CEO David Goldberg and our founding team recognized that harnessing entrepreneurial innovation to tackle humanity's biggest problems offered a powerful opportunity to change the world.
As they spoke with other founders, the same three recurring barriers emerged: entrepreneurs wanted to give back but often lacked time, resources, and guidance to do so effectively. Founders Pledge was created to bridge that gap.

Today, our community is brimming with more than 2,000 like-minded founders, entrepreneurs, and investors.
United by a drive to solve complex problems, this group shares an ambition that goes beyond building great companies—they are committed to building a better world. And they've made over 2,500 pledges, dedicating a share of their current or future wealth to charity and turning vision into action.
