**Iodine Global Network** reduced iodine deficiency in Peru, which can impair children's physical and mental development. 
They trained local health workers on the importance of iodine nutrition, promoted the use of iodized salt, and advocated within Amazonian communities.

**The Humane League UK** fought for years to ban the use of fast-growing Frankenchickens, achieving a big win in late 2024 when the courts ruled that animals should not be kept in the UK if they'll suffer because of how they were bred.

A senior reporter at **Vox** covered the Ninth Review Conference of the Biological Weapons Convention in Geneva, producing important coverage to educate the public and leaders about the continued threats of biological weapons to international security. 

**Future Cleantech Architects**, a climate think tank in Germany, accelerates innovation in key industries where sustainable solutions are in early stages, such as cement, aviation, and shipping. 

The **Organized Crime and Corruption Reporting Project** is 
helping Ukraine fight abuse and fraud by training Ukrainian journalists to conduct follow-the-money investigations and seeding a nationwide investigative network.

**StrongMinds** provided interpersonal group psychotherapy to roughly 4,600 women in Zambia, reducing their depression and offering treatment the women would not otherwise access.

**Unlimit Health** partnered with the Federal Ministry of Health in Ethiopia to distribute 25 million treatments to children and adolescents for parasitic worm infections, which can impair their development and future wellbeing. 

**Taimaka** treated more than 4,500 children suffering from severe acute malnutrition in Gombe, Nigeria, saving almost 400 young lives. Their community management of acute malnutrition model achieves 95% recovery rates. 

**J-PAL’s Innovation in Government Initiative** improved access to aid for Togo's poorest citizens, using mobile phone and satellite data to send cash transfers to citizens who were overlooked by a previous government program. 

**GiveDirectly** provided support in the wake of Morocco's largest earthquake in over 100 years, distributing $2 million to 223 different women's cooperatives and helping nearly 1,400 women rebuild their livelihoods. 

**Against Malaria Foundation** distributed over 37,000 long-lasting insecticidal bed nets the Batha region of Chad, protecting 68,000 people from malaria and improving the local economy by an estimated $1.2 million.

**Suvita** expanded their vaccination programs in India, bringing their SMS reminders and ambassador programs to support an additional 750,000 children across the states with the majority of India's underimmunized children.

**Essential** is developing breakthrough solutions to malnutrition. They've established a pilot plant in Nairobi, accelerating their R&D to produce high-quality, climate resilient proteins at scale. 

**Imagine Worldwide** improves foundational learning for children in Malawi, providing a solar-powered tablet-based program, and they're working towards national expansion to reach 4 million students by 2029. 

**Project IMPALA** is transforming healthcare in resource-limited settings, providing vital signs monitoring that reduced pediatric mortality by 42% at St Luke's hospital in Tanzania. 

**Interactive Research & Development Global** extended their Infant Vaccination Program in Sindh Province, Pakistan, using conditional cash transfers and an electronic registry to increase vaccination rates—reaching an estimated additional 200,000 infants and saving 550 lives. 

**Carnegie Endowment for International Peace** is developing practical escalation-management policies to prevent nuclear escalation during conflicts between Russia, China, and the US.

**Brookings Institution** continued its backchannel diplomacy between the US and China, building a shared technical glossary of AI safety concepts between the two nations, laying the groundwork for future official diplomatic exchanges.

The **Institute for Nuclear-Human Relations (INHR)** is advancing global safety standards around AI and biorisks, 
including hosting a meeting with global leaders in Thailand to workshop draft AI-biosecurity recommendations.

**Blueprint Biosecurity** hosted a workshop in late 2024, gathering officials from 10 Southeast Asian countries to share their policy proposals and innovation roadmap around next-gen personal protective equipment, to ultimately improve global pandemic preparedness.

**Research Institute for Future Design** is the only research group dedicated to finding ways to include future generations' perspectives in contemporary decision-making, advancing future design practices and conducting novel research.
